Beach

Fine sandy beaches and crystal clear water - the Tuscan Islands are known as a natural paradise. Anyone wanting to visit the Tuscan mainland however, can also look forward to relaxing days by the sea.

The district beaches are mostly divided into individual sections, the so-called bagni. These bathing areas offer plenty of comfort with sun loungers, parasols, showers and changing rooms.

Bagni and free beaches

Many of the bagni have their own cafe and restaurant and offer different sporting activities. This service is not free, of course. Prices vary depending on location, season and selection.

Anyone not wanting to make use of this service and preferring to go to one of the free beaches, will find plenty of sports along the coast.
