Money
The Euro is the valid currency throughout Tuscany and Italy. Credit cards are usually accepted in many stores and hotels.
ATMs (bancomat), where you can get money using your EC-card, can be found in any large town.
Italian banks are usually opened from 8.30am-1.30pm and 2.45pm-3.45pm.
Eurocheques are no longer accepted in Italy.
Should you lose your credit card, cancel it straight away!
