At the end of July/August, musical greats and music lovers meet for the Siena Jazz Festival. The association offers quality music workshops throughout the year. In the summer there are plenty of different seminars and concerts to please a wide audience. The squares and contrades in Siena are the perfect place for jazz concerts.
Settimana Musicale Senese - classical music
In the summer months, the lanes and streets are filled with the sounds of different musical styles. Classical music can mostly be heard during the musical week, the Settimana Musicale Senese. The Music Academy Chigiana holds numerous concerts in its headquarters Palazzo Chigi Sarcini, among other places.
